Visions and Values

Welcome to Heathrow Primary School
At Heathrow Primary School, our mission is to provide a safe, happy, caring and inclusive environment in which all pupils are able to realise their full potential and aspire to the high academic and social expectations that we have for them.

We will provide an atmosphere where all are valued, respected and are encouraged to make a positive difference to the lives of those around us and to the world in which we live.

We will provide opportunities for our pupils to develop their knowledge, skills and practical abilities by meeting individual needs.  We are a school proud of our traditional values, encouraged through a commitment to equal opportunities for all, a strong community spirit and a true sense of belonging.

Our school ethos is built on the cornerstones of our Triple A vision:

Attitude     Achievement   Aspiration

Attitude – a positive approach to learning and behaviour is embedded in the culture of the school.

Achievement – high quality teaching and learning enables all individuals to reach their potential through a broad and balanced curriculum.

Aspirations – challenge for all is demonstrated through high expectations throughout our time at Heathrow School and in future individual goals.

We value the contribution that Governors, parents and the local community play in supporting our vision and, in partnership together, we will enable our pupils to become the best citizens that they can be in this ever changing and challenging world.

No prospectus or website can compare with a visit for gaining a true insight into what a school has to offer. A phone call will ensure an invitation to visit the school. It will provide an opportunity to see our children in their classrooms, judge the quality of work being produced and ask any questions that you may have. You will be most welcome and we look forward to meeting you.
