Heathrow Primary School
We celebrated 'Mental Health Awareness Day' by dressing up in yellow and talking about what makes us happy and sad.
We talked about how some children were wearing the same colour socks and discussed how there are things that are the same about all of us for example we all have a nose.
We then looked at those friends that were wearing odd socks and discussed how there are things that are different about each of us for example our hair colour.
We then talked about how it does not matter if there are things that are the same or different about us we can still all be friends.
We talked about our friends and the nice things we like to do with them. We made friendship bracelets for our friends. We talked about how we feel when our friends do something nice for us.
