The children thoroughly enjoyed World Book Week. They started the week by investigating a murder in the library. The children searched through a number of library books answering questions to discover who the murderer was. The children were also treated to a visit from an author who introduced them to her literacy works and educated them on Canadian wildlife. A range of sublime book tokens were created by Year 3 in which all were based on the theme of reading. Finally, the children ended the week by having a marvellous tea party where they dressed up as their favourite literacy character, whilst discussing their favourite texts.
