Book Tasting!
At Heathrow Primary School, we enjoy sampling a diverse range of books every term to introduce the children to new and upcoming authors. Each teacher sets up a 'Book Tasting' session once a term, where the children peruse a wide selection at leisure, before taking home books to read. During the sessions, the children make recommendations to inspire their peers to make ambitious text choices in order to expand their reading repertoires, and to read for pleasure Have a look at the ambient sessions we've held all around the school during the Spring term!
