During Autumn term, Reception children have been focused on building community and being kind to others in our PSHE lessons. We have talked about keeping ourselves and others safe by following rules and have discussed how to be kind using our hands and our words. During Black History Month, we discussed how we could all work together to make the world a better place and how helping others makes us feel good too.
Spring Term In PSHE our focus has been on caring for ourselves and others. We have discussed ways in which to help keep our classroom and community clean and healthy. We have sorted items into rubbish and recycling to show how we can look after the world. We’ve talked about people who are special to us and ways we can show our appreciation. Finally, we thoroughly enjoyed our time on the Life Bus and learned how to look after our bodies, minds and feelings with Harold the Giraffe.
