Trip to Oxford!

At Heathrow Primary School, we are driven to provide our children with opportunities to believe in themselves by pursing their innate capabilities and developing a sense of pride in everything they do. As part of our Gifted and Talented Writers’ programme, a few of our exceptional writers have been selected to visit St Anne's College at Oxford University to celebrate their wonderful academic achievement this year. Their work was acknowledged by Siân Grønlie (Associate Professor at St Anne's College), who awarded them a certificate of recognition for their outstanding writing achievement.

The children were rewarded by a short talk about higher education and university life, and a tour of the college followed by a light lunch. The visit was a truly, memorable experience, which gave the children a taste of what their future could hold for them.
