Over the term, Year 4 became climatologists learning how to compare various climate zones. We explored temperature and precipitation throughout the year within a climate zone, and studied its effects on the local environment. Our learning culminated with the children creating a weather forecast for a climate zone of their choice, using all of the information they’d researched and accumulated about our topic.
