BEE Enterprise: Creating A Sweet Company
On Thursday, Year 6 all became entrepreneurs, creating their own sweet companies! The children, with the help of some wonderful volunteers from Heathrow Airport, created a business name and allocated roles that included 'Managing Director', 'Finance Director', 'Artistic Director' and 'Sales and Marketing Manager'. They then created their sweet product (considering carefully their cost and profit), an advertising poster and a sales pitch that they delivered to their class. Finally, the two businesses who were voted the best, presented their pitch to the whole year group and adults, and 'Sweet Tooth' were the overall winners. All the children were praised for their excellent teamwork, creativity and confidence. Well done Year 6!
