To conclude their exciting history topic of ‘Ancient Egypt’, the Year 4 children were given the opportunity to experience an Ancient Egyptian workshop which entailed decorating their very own cartouche and learning an Egyptian dance. For the cartouche, children were introduced to hieroglyphics and were able to write their own name in the ancient Egyptian language before decorating their cartouche with paints. After, they learnt some Egyptian style dance moves which they were able to sequence into an enthralling dance.
