On Line Safety
A family agreement is a great way to start a conversation as a whole family about how the internet should be used safely and responsibly when online at home, at school or at a friend's house.
To support parents in creating a family agreement Childnet International have put together some free advice and a helpful family agreement template for families to use as a starting point.

Does your child know what to do if they see something online they don’t like?
We talk to the children all the time about staying safe online in school during assemblies and in special e-safety lessons.

There are websites you can look on to improve your knowledge also.
The most important thing you can do to keep your child safe is to talk to them and encourage them to talk to you.
Ask them to tell you how they stay safe online. What tips do they have for you? Where did they learn that?
Think about how you both use the internet. What could you do together? Are there activities you could do as a family?
