The Owl and the Pussy-Cat
This week in Literacy, we have been studying The Owl and the Pussy-Cat, a classic poem written by Edward Lear. We had the opportunity to learn about performance poetry and show the class our performances of the poem. We were really good at using tone, volume and voices for the difference characters as well as thinking of actions for the words. By the end of the week, we were able to write our own variations of The Owl and the Pussy-Cat by thinking of different animals, and the different places the animals went.
