The Gingerbread Man
The children listened to the story of the ‘Gingerbread Man’. They were then asked to choose a number and put the correct number of gingerbread men on the plate. Next they were asked how many would I have if I put one more on the plate. Finally, they were given two plates and asked to work out how many gingerbread men there were altogether.
