We wanted to do something special to celebrate the Queen's 70th Jubilee so we decided to make them some biscuits. We talked about how we could stay safe when cooking. The children said that they had to wash their hands before touching the ingredients. They also said we needed to be careful around cooking apparatus like knives and the cooker.
